Sharing Yan’s passion for flowers

About me April 20, 2009

Flowerlifestyle Yan portrait

I love flowers in the nature as well as in floral arrangements.

I believe a good floral creation is not about distorting the nature, but recreating the nature as it would not be in a “normal” environment.

I am a marketing professional and would like to be specialist in floral marketing.

I live in Paris but I come from Beijing, China.  That is the reason why I write in three languages : English, French, Chinese.

All the photographies on my blog are my own works because after the flowers, photography is my second hobby.

Nature proposes, the eye disposes.

We need only to know how to look at the plant world,

how to respect the uniqueness of species, and to accept

their natural tendencies. We mustn’t force them,

but reveal them. We mustn’t change their nature,

spruce them up. Above all, we must awaken them.
